Is there any way suppress the automatic overlay of approach plates in navigation mode? Some of the plates are less up to date than the SkyDemon chart itself.

You can delete the plate from your local cache, and SkyDemon will therefore no longer use it.

It shouldn't be the case that a plate is older than SkyDemon data, though, since both are updated every 28 days. Can you give us an idea which plates, please, so that we can investigate?

But it would be nice to suppress the automatic overlay of approach plates. The Skydemon map is better than the Swedish AIP. The absolute best alternative would be able to "popup" the Jeppesen plate instead ;-)

Hello. With reference to this thread I'm finding the automatic approach plates quite irritating because the B&W colouring is often swamped by sunlight and they are not much use (typically too cluttered) for actual navigation. I note the point about the red 'x' to cancel but is it possible to turn this feature off without deleting the plate?
